  • Can I have an all-clear marquee?
    Yes, and they look stunning! Marquees are modular so we can easily add clear roofs and windows wherever required on the marquee. An all-clear marquee would not be recommended in the height of summer, however there are still options to have clear sections. We can advise on this.
  • What size marquee do I need?
    The size of the marquee you need depends on several factors, including the number of guests, whether those guests are all seated, part seated or standing room only, the type of event, and the layout requirements. For example, do you need space for a dance floor or stage, a bar counter or tables for serving food. There are many considerations but we can easily design a floorplan and advise the best size for your event.
  • How long does it take to set the marquee up?
    The time it takes to set up a marquee depends on its size and complexity, but typically 1-2 days.
  • What areas do you cover?
    We are based in West Yorkshire and cover all of Yorkshire, the North East, North West and Midlands. We can travel further afield on occasion so please get in touch if you are outside these areas and are interested in our services.
  • Do you provide furniture for the marquee?
    Yes we can provide banqueting and bar furniture for your event, along with dance floors, stages and lighting. All details can be found in our brochure.
  • Do you charge for delivery?
    Yes, delivery and collection charges are a separate item on your quote. We aim to keep these as reasonable as possible. If your location is under 30 miles away from our base in Shipley delivery is free.
  • What sizes of marquees do you have?
    We have a wide range of high quality marquee stock available. The strucures come in 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m and 15m widths and then can be built up in 3m sections to be the length required.
  • Can be marquees be used in cooler weather?
    Absolutely. Our marquees are commercial quality to withstand weather conditions and can also be fitted with doors and heating to ensure you and your guests are kept cosy.
  • Can I light candles in the marquee?
    Yes, we allow candles to be lit in our marquees. Some clients will choose LED but either way they create a lovely glow as night falls.
  • Can your marquees be used all year round?
    Yes they can. They are commercial quality and can be fitted with doors and heating for the cooler months, whilst in the summer the window walls can be opened up.
  • Can you supply catering tents?
    Yes absolutely. We don't usually include these on initial quotes unless requested as not all clients require this but we can supply any size needed and they come with a solid floor and striplights.
  • Can we hang items from the marquee ceiling?
    Yes, it is possible to hang decor from the ceiling. Over the last few years floral hoops have been very popular.
  • Can marquees be built on a hard surface such as tarmac or concrete?
    Depending on the surface we may be able to stake, bolt or if these are not applicable we can provide weighting. The exact requirements would be dependant on your site.
  • What is your standard hire period?
    For most events such as weddings and private parties that take place over a weekend, the hire period is usually between 3-5 days. We can tailor this period to your needs though, whether the requirement is only a day or whether you require long term hire over a week or even months.
  • Can the Barn marquee be built at my location?
    It absolutely can as the structure is a clearspan marquee which can be transported and built at any location. The barn frontage is attached to this structure.
  • Do you offer site visits?
    Yes,the suitability of the site our site visits are free and without obligation. We would always recommend these, not only to ensure the sites suitability but also these meetings allow detailed planning of the marquee and your event requirements.
  • What about power in the marquee?
    We can supply all cabling and sockets in your marquee. We would need access to suitable power. If you are unsure what you require get in touch. If your event, you may be ok using your domestic supply. For most events where you have caterers who are preparing food on site, have a band, toilets etc you will require a generator. Again, we can advise on this aspect of your event.
  • Do i need a generator?
    this will depend
  • Can you provide a plan of what my marquee will look like?
    We always supply a CAD floorplan of your marquee along with your quote. This shows you exactly how the layout of your marquee could be based on your requirements.
